About Us
Founder, Executive Director
The Founder, Margaret Freepartner, (MD Free), began creating software content as an engineering student. She faced adversities common to other underserved and underrepresented students. Many fellow students at CSUF and UNLV from a range of cultures and skill levels all agree with MD Free, there's a few things missing in how calculus and physics fundamentals are taught.
With courageous spirit and a wealth of ideas for inventions and innovations, she perseveres, and believes she has a lot to offer the scientific community. Her diversified outlook and creative insight are powerful assets since some of the world's best mathematicians don’t have the creativity needed to solve real life problems. She believes, that even with the effectiveness level of AI to build what humans need, AI is a tool that can only advise based on the parameters and data it is fed. It may not have the best ideas to combat climate change, it is best used as a tool to help us plan and evaluate. Humans originate ideas beyond the confines of what they know or remember. Facts, the proof is in how our vintage science fiction literature and film, (entertainment), heavily influenced the direction and purpose of technology that is at the forefront of development today.
Creative minds plus scientific knowledge equals engineers. Traditional Colleges and Universities are known to have terrible rates of retaining and graduating STEM majors. Of all those who attempt a STEM major, less than 1/3 will ever complete a degree in their chosen field. Most STEM students fail out or change majors. Freepartner innovates scientific learning to help students break through any barriers in their way.
